I wrote this when I got back from the lake Hope you enjoy it I haven't had a chance to work on more stories but hopefully today will be slow and I can get some writing time in ?The water gently rolling upon the shore An awesome sunrise through my door What a way to spend the day All of us out on the water at play Buddy doing his favorite thing Seeing him happy makes my heart sing I love the smell of the air The wind blowing through what's left of my hair Listening to the birds sing their song Feeling the warmth of the sun all day long Relaxing- regaining my strength Refreshing my heart, my soul to make it the next length Planning and reaching for more I'm not going to worry about what's in store 6 more months and I'll again have to open that door But I wont let that get me down like It did before I've been able to do some incredible things that's for sure And I know there is nothing that I can not endure But then I do things from the heart, which tends to make them pure Or maybe that's just what makes me feel secure Because I know when I open my heart...I regain a little part I free some more of the pain That has for so many years drove me insane I accepted long ago I was not the only one to blame.

I regain a little part I free some more of the pain That has for so many years drove me insane I accepted long ago I was not the only one to blame.And that some people look at life as if it's a game I look at life as the beginning of a long journey And that its not about being the best or wining the tourney Its not a competition Or about reaching the highest position Its about meeting as many kind souls as you can And constantly trying to become a better man Taking the good with the bad And not letting the little things make me feel sad I believe that every day is a new chance To take life out for a dance Its so important to go out and have fun Even if its just putting your feet up under the sun I know I don't mind going that extra mile To try and make some one smile But that's part of the rest of my days in this incredible place So now my future no matter what it be I will embrace5-5-08 KM Its Mine
