Hello all my Lovelies, Pets and Bishes.As most of you know, we adopted two female kitties from the Animal Shelter in January.We lost our Moose on 12/26/07.He was 13.Having the two new ones, redirected my focus on caring for them.They have become real comforts, and are little "joys" to have in our family.We since, adopted a black and white male Persian.We got him on the 18th of April.What a cutie he is! Being I don't have a digital camera "as of yet" I don't have pictures of him yet.We named him "Mushy" cuz his face is the flatest face I ever saw on a Persian.Pictures will come soon..Now to my story...Misty is my black kitty, and Missy is my cream color kitty.Misty as you see, is very over weight.Meaning, she cannot groom herself.Another words, she cannot toss her own salad!SOOOO...I have to get a warm wet wash cloth, lay my big fuzzy ball of innocence on her back, and clean her butt.I have to do this daily, or she will end up like she was when I first got her...dirty, crusted over, and infected.It took me two weeks to get her asshole cleared up.She was a happy kitty.uh huh.Missy, (at first) would sniff Misty's butt, and abruptly turn away and shake off, as if to say, "daaayuuum girl!what the hell died up in there!?"

what the hell died up in there!?"Then it got to where she would groom Misty's face and back.Then gradually, working her way down to her butt.(Meanwhilst, Gina's saying to herself, "Yes!Missy!Do it!DOOOO ITTT!!!!"...)Yesterday as I was going about my domesticational devotions, (vacuming) I happen to glance over to the sofa.There I see Misty on her back, hind legs up and spread eagle.I had to walk a little closer because I wasn't wearing my glasses.There is Missy right smack bulls eye, tossing Misty's salad!Yes!I kid you not!Missy took over my job of cleaning Misty's butt!Misty put up NO fight.Missy finished her new task, and there they lay intwined on my sofa.They are laying on the sofa as I type this.Perhaps Missy's new role will draw them closer together.(Misty is somewhat tempermental with her.)Ohh the life of my little darlings...Although this is really true, enjoy the laugh!xo
